heeere blanket, blanket

‘Surrounding yourself with the things you love’ is one of my favorite design philosophies. Doing so will bring the warmth, comfort and serenity to your home.

As a native Oregonian, I have many fond childhood memories of Pendleton. My Paternal Grandmother always looking fashionable in her 49’er jacket and my Maternal Papa proudly showcased his Pendleton blanket at the end of his bed. My Great Aunt and Uncle from Victoria, BC would visit Portland often and shopping for Pendleton was always on their list.

Fast forward twenty-some years and I had the distinct honor of working for Pendleton Woolen Mills as the Visual Director for 17 years. At the corporate office, you are surrounded by all of the exquisite wool patterns and designs that are enriched from a brand history spanning over 100 years…it’s truly a magical place. I immediately fell in love with the SOULFUL BLANKETS, the history and legends behind them are remarkable and extremely inspiring.

Here’s a peek at my personal Pendleton blanket collection. I just love how they turned our family room into a warm and cozy gathering place.
